Catalyst Arts Fund Opens for Applications, Art/works, Special bulletin from the Ministry for the Arts – November 2015

Catalyst – Australian Arts and Culture Fund is now open for applications.

Catalyst funding is available from three streams: partnerships and collaborations; innovation and participation; and international and cultural diplomacy.

Priorities for the fund include innovative projects by small to medium organisations, and projects that increase participation of regional Australians in the arts and enhance our international reputation.

Funding can support activities such as performances, exhibitions, tours, development and creation of new work, festivals, investment in foundation or fellowship programs, and infrastructure and capacity-building projects.

Applications are made online through the SmartyGrants grants management system. It’s easy to register if you aren’t already registered.

For your application, you will need a project work plan and a detailed budget, and you will need to address the assessment criteria on the online form.

Applications will be assessed by at least three people, with a combination of independent and Ministry for the Arts assessors.

Applications can be made at any time and successful applicants will be advised quarterly.

To read the guidelines, frequently asked questions and to start your application, visit the Ministry for the Arts website.

We encourage you to contact the Ministry for the Arts if you have any questions about the Catalyst guidelines or the application process by email at [email protected] or phone freecall 1800 590 577.
