Role Details
The Chief Finance Officer provides strategic financial advice to the Director and the SA Museum Board and ensures high quality and efficient financial and management accounting services as well as efficient and timely financial and audit reporting are provided to the SA Museum. The incumbent will also be responsible for the leadership and management of the Museum’s facilities management and central administration functions.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- This role requires a Working with Children Check.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
Essential Qualifications
- A degree qualification in commerce, accounting, finance or economics, majoring in accounting
