The Digital Collections and Access Team are responsible for ensuring Te Papa’s collections are made as accessible as possible through the active creation, management, delivery and preservation of high quality digital collections.
Te Papa is seeking a Collections Information Analyst to support the management of our Collection Information System (KEMu) and Collections online.
The Collections Information Analyst will be responsible for:
- Providing help desk support to users of the collections information system
- Supporting users and Te Papa programmes by managing import and export processes from the Collection information System
- Designing, developing and delivery of training to Te Papa staff on the Collection information System
- Managing content published to Collections Online and other Te Papa and third-party websites
- Contribute to the Digital Collections and Access team to help achieve team and organisational objectives
Your previous skills and experience will include:
- Advanced user of Museum Collection Information Systems
- Experience with database methodologies and administration
- Experience in developing and facilitating training programmes
- Knowledge and experience with digital asset management
- Excellent problem solving ability – able to analyse issues and develop solutions
