The Collection Information and Access department is seeking a part-time and fixed-term Collection Technician, Published and Archival Collections to be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary project team at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum. This is a part-time position requiring 32 hours per week and a long-term contract of 3 years duration. You will be responsible for creating high-quality object records, rehousing and at times digitising items from our published and archival collections (including books, serials, maps, plans and ephemera). This role is crucial to the achievement of the project, which will highlight the breadth and depth of our collections and form the basis of future onsite, offsite and online access.

The role would particularly suit an emerging library or archives professional with a desire to further their cataloguing experience.
