Museums Victoria seeks an experienced and talented Communication Designer. You will contribute to creation and delivery of outstanding museum projects such as exhibitions, publications, education materials, websites, corporate communications and marketing collateral.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position is accountable for providing high quality design services that will contribute significantly to the delivery of outstanding museum projects, programs and communications setting the highest standards of innovative creativity and design excellence.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Proven experience and ability in communication design, demonstrated via highly developed conceptual, spatial, typographic and creative skills, applied to a broad range of media.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the role of design and interpretive programs in a museum or similar setting.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with experience in participating in multi-disciplinary team environments.
- Demonstrated project management, administrative and organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines, prioritise work and provide consistent attention to detail.
- Highly developed skills in operating computer-based communication design programs and an ability to adapt to technological change with ease.
- Experience in liaising and engaging with external suppliers.
