We have an exciting role within our Brand & Marketing Team to provide administrative, publicity and social media support to the communications team, working collaboratively with the Media & Communications Manager and Content & Social Media Advisor. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, the Communications Assistant works with departments across the organisation, including Film Programs, Education, Public Programs, Curatorial and Development, in close conjunction with the Marketing Assistant. The role is designed to expand your skills in all facets of PR.

Our ideal team member will have some experience in the field of media, communications, public relations or similar. With an understanding of the Australian media landscape you will be able to build and maintain relationships internally and externally with community groups and key influencers across the arts, culture, design and entertainment media landscape. You will have excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. If you are a motivated multi-tasker who is looking to build a career in PR and social media this is the role for you.
Job details
This is a Grade 2 role, offered on a full-time ongoing basis. The role has a starting salary between $52,493–$61,016 plus super along with other great benefits. This is a great opportunity to become part of a talented, committed and creative team of people with a passion for screen culture.
