The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS) is an executive agency of the New South Wales State Government. The Conservation Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal care of and access to the collection by a wide variety of users across physical sites, off-site and across digital platforms. You will lead and manage all aspects of the Conservation unit including collection management, developing MAAS conservation policies and standards in accordance with international best practice, improving work practices, and strategic policy and procedure development.

Qualifications
Tertiary qualification, specialist training and experience in the conservation, preservation or management needs of cultural materials from multi-disciplinary heritage collections or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years experience in their subject specialisation
