You will help the existing Conservator with the assessment and conservation of a large project focussing on taonga Māori. You will also assist with other collection item conservation on a project-by-project basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous conservation experience and who is comfortable with the documentation needs of a large conservation project. Experience and knowledge of handling taonga Māori is desirable. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Canterbury Museum’s redevelopment.
