Conservator – Otago Museu

The Otago Museum is seeking an experienced professional to assist with conservation activities within the Museum.

The Museum holds a diverse and significant collection encompassing wood, metal, textiles, plastics, stone, ceramics, glass and natural specimens. The Conservator will work within a team to enhance the longevity, stability and accessibility of collection items for the Otago community. The successful applicant will have the knowledge, qualifications, and experience to carry out collection care according to professional standards and practices. Experience in textile or natural history collections would be advantageous as would experience in contract or private conservation work.
