Duties
The Paper conservator performs and documents professional preventive and remedial conservation services for paper and related paper based objects in the National Collection. The work includes survey, treatment and maintenance of documents, maps, posters, works of art on paper and photographs. The conservator also participates in multi-disciplinary teams to implement conservation, preservation, exhibition, access and loan programs; documents work performed and implements new and improved conservation processes and techniques.

Eligibility
Tertiary qualifications in conservation are required.

This job is a designated Security Assessed position at Baseline level. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain the required clearance..
