We are seeking an experienced and motivated Content Manager to join our Digital Experience team to develop and deliver excellent content. The direction of this section is to build and deliver on the digital vision for the Australian War Memorial.

The Content Manager role is a lead role within the Digital Experience team and will be responsible for delivering content components within the Memorial’s new digital strategy under the direction of the Head of Digital. The Content Manager will also be responsible for managing a content plan and working with Memorial Sections and individual contributors to write and structure content, and delivering through producers.

Search Engine Optimisation across the Memorial’s website is also a key requirement of this role as well as the ability to interpret analytics on user behaviours and the consumption of content.

The Content Manager will have a creative mind with strong project management and people management skills.

Qualifications in communications, marketing or journalism are highly desirable.
