Conditions

This is a full-time permanent vacancy. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

Location

This position is located in Welshpool, based at the Collections and Research Centre, but works across multiple sites.

Job Description

The Coordinator Exhibitions & Interpretive Projects is responsible for the coordination of temporary exhibitions and other interpretative projects from inception to delivery. The focus of the role includes leading teams to produce internally developed exhibitions as well as coordinating the display of temporary exhibitions developed by third parties, and other special projects, as required. It is a fast-paced role, overseeing multiple projects and stakeholders at one time.
