An opportunity as a Corporate Giving Officer has become available at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). The role of will assist the Gallery to build, maintain and renew partnerships with the corporate sector in line with the Gallery’s Vision 2021-2025 with a specific focus on corporate giving. Key duties include:

  1. Work with the Head of Business Development and Partnerships to achieve annual corporate giving targets through developing and implementing partnership strategies to ensure QAGOMA is proactive and competitive in the arts sponsorship environment.
  2. Research potential new corporate supporters and develop case for support & proposals to targeted organisations.
  3. Proactively engage in negotiations for renewal of agreements with existing partners, in advance of agreement expiration.

The right person for the job will demonstrate capabilities, including:

  1. Proven experience in philanthropy & fundraising initiatives and be familiar with Corporate Giving, Trusts and Foundations, Giving Circles, Workplace Giving Programs, Major Gifts programs and Annual Appeal campaigns.
  2. Proven track record of successful identification, prospecting and management of high-level philanthropic relationships.
  3. An understanding of the visual arts sector and the skills to prepare concise and impact focused proposal collateral for tailored and unique presentations.
