The Australian Museum (AM) operates within the NSW Department of Justice and was founded in 1827 and is the first museum in Australia. The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 18 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite. About the role
The Creative Producer, Children’s Programs is responsible for developing and coordinating the range of programs on offer for children (0-12 years) and their families. This includes overseeing the upkeep and development of new activities and materials in Kidspace.

Essential Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate
- Experience within a public program team and experience in developing innovative programs for museum audiences.
- Experience in event management including research and project management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications or comprehensive experience in a similar role
The successful applicant will need to hold a current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
