The Western Australian Museum is a vibrant centre of inspiration, learning and enjoyment for everyone. It preserves, documents and shares collections relating to the State’s natural and cultural heritage. It collaborates with people across Western Australia to share the stories and voices of diverse communities. It works alongside national and international organisations, contributing to global research, promoting life-long learning, and developing and hosting world-class exhibitions.

Having opened in November 2020, WA Museum Boola Bardip shares stories of our people and places. The Learning and Engagement team develop, deliver and evaluate programs and experiences that engage audiences with the Western Australian Museum. The team is at the forefront of public engagement, delivering a diverse suite of programs that facilitate meaningful visitor experiences. The team is dynamic and engaged, creating programming the reflects and promotes the Museum as a cultural hub and centre of lifelong learning.

About the role

The Creative Producer’s role is to develop, implement, resource, deliver and evaluate high quality public programs and experiences relating to the Western Australian Museum.

The Creative Producer will be paramount to the creative development and scale mounting of medium to large scale cultural and digital public programs which enhance the Museum offering.

This role will focus on developing new programs in addition to the continued delivery of ongoing programs, from concept to production.
