Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a creative and collaborative person to provide curatorial expertise to document Indigenous collections and consult with Indigenous communities, ensuring that the collections are accessible to communities, online audiences and researchers.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Curator, Indigenous Collections to undertake research and documentation of selected Indigenous collections so as to facilitate effective access for communities, the public and for exhibition and research projects. Specific projects will be developed in collaboration with curatorial and collection management colleagues and Indigenous communities.

Notable skills and experiences:

This position is reserved for Indigenous applicants, under the provisions for Special Measures under the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. OTHER INFORMATION
This is a full time, ongoing position. The salary on offer is $63,629 (base of grade) + 9.5% superannuation.
