This position exists to undertake and oversee all curatorial responsibilities in the collection, exhibition, interpretation, research, promotion and care of the Visual Art and Design collections of the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery.
The key functions of this position include development and management of the Visual Art and Design collections; management of staff in the Visual Art and Design Section; undertaking research on the collections; management of the Visual Art and Design Section’s public programs; maintaining an enquiries service; and liaison with community and relevant special-interest groups.
