The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a professional to join the Museum’s Executive Support Team as an Executive Officer, providing high quality support to the Senior Team Managers, and, specifically, to support the Centre for Indigenous Knowledge.

The key duties of the position include:

The incumbent of the position will provide strategic and high level administrative support to the Head of Centre and Senior Curator. The role manages high-level correspondence and communication on behalf of the Centre, locates key legacy information of past projects and contacts, including developing reports and submissions for external stakeholders and oversees comprehensiveness, accuracy and timeliness of correspondence drafted by others on behalf of the Head of Centre. The position liaises with internal and external stakeholders, remote Indigenous communities and corporations, and high profile visitors and international guests. The position will be responsible for a range of projects, legacy information and knowledge, as assigned by the Head of Centre.
