Customer Acquisition & Retention Executive – Memberships

About the Australian Museum
The Australian Museum (AM) operates within the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.  The AM is the first museum in Australia and was founded in 1827. The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 21 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite. The AM’s purpose is to make nature, Indigenous cultures and science accessible and relevant to everyone.

Membership is one of the most ambitious teams at the AM, providing the highest standard of customer care and stewardship for our 19,000+ active members.

This role will develop and own the strategy and action plans for AM’s Membership program. You will plan, manage and implement programs, products and communications to maximise retention of existing members as well identify and grow new member acquisition.

About the role
The Customer Acquisition & Retention Executive – Memberships works with the Marketing and Membership team to build AM Member loyalty and retention through tailored events, experiences, products, and communications. The role also works to increase memberships through identifying and implementing membership acquisition plans to meet revenue and member targets.
