Sovereign Hill is a dynamic group of museums presenting the mining, social, cultural and environmental heritage of the Ballarat region and its impact on Australia’s history.
The Creative and Design Division incorporates the Creative, Graphics and Design Team as well as the Times Office and Red Hill Photographic Rooms which is located in the “Main Street” of the outdoor museum and depicts a photographic shop from the 1850s.
The Customer Service Officer, Photographers is responsible for engaging and assisting visitors with enquiries, costume dressing, purchasing decisions and processing sales transactions with the Red Hill Photographic Rooms.
To be successful you must have excellent customer service skills, cash handling skills, and the ability to communicate efficiently with all staff and visitors of Sovereign Hill. Experience with digital photographer and software packages would be highly regarded.
You must be available to work weekends and public holidays.
