Sovereign Hill is a dynamic group of museums presenting the mining, social, cultural and environmental heritage of the Ballarat region and its impact on Australia’s history.

The Creative and Design Department incorporates the Red Hill Photographic Rooms which is located in the Main Street of the outdoor museum and depicts a photographic shop from the 1850s.

We are looking for casual Customer Service Officers to work in our Red Hill Photographic Room. In this costumed role you will be required to process customer transactions efficiently, assist with arranging individuals and groups in preparation for photographs, prepare photographs for collection or postage, present an appropriate shop environment
and interact with visitors on a daily basis.

To be successful you must have experience in a customer service or retail environment, excellent cash handling and P.O.S, an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate efficiently with all staff and visitors of Sovereign Hill. Experience using digital photography and software packages is highly desirable.
