Customer Service Officers, Retail Triangle – Sovereign Hill

Sovereign Hill is a dynamic group of museums presenting the mining, social, cultural and environmental heritage of the Ballarat region and its impact on Australia’s history.

The Commercial and Operations Department comprises of Retail outlets, both internal and external to the Museum, Operations, Sovereign Hill Hotel, Front Entrance & Blood on the Southern Cross (BOSC).

We are looking for a Casual Customer Service Officer to work in our retail outlets – Gift Shop, Entrance Shop and Gold Museum. In this non-costumed role you will be required to process customer transactions efficiently, maintain stock levels, present an appropriate shop environment and interact with visitors on a daily basis.

To be successful you must have experience in a customer service or retail environment, excellent cash handling and P.O.S, an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate efficiently with all staff and visitors of Sovereign Hill.

You must be available to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
