Position Description

The Digital Content Manager is responsible for delivering digital experiences that engage Museum users both onsite and online.

The Manager will:

Selection criteria
Applicants must respond to each of the following selection criteria in their application:

  1. Demonstrated experience in managing a website and social media team as a strategic corporate communications tool including content strategy, user experience and iterative development.
  2. Demonstrated experience establishing creative, multi-disciplinary teams, including staff, contractors and suppliers, to deliver user-focused digital products and solutions.
  3. Demonstrated effectiveness in managing projects with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Experience in managing and reporting on budgets, contracts, project plans and key deliverables.
  5. Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders to produce quality content and build digital skills appropriate to the organisation’s goals.
  6. A thorough practical knowledge of current website, social media and multimedia technologies and trends. Experience in the use of such technologies within a cultural institution.
