World Science Festival Brisbane explores and celebrates the entanglement of science and art through a curated program of thought-provoking conversations, inspiring theatrical and cinematic experiences, major outdoor events and education activities. The Digital Content Producer will produce bold and engaging video and digital content for Conversation and Signature events and other creative projects. The successful applicant will be a technology savvy, creative storyteller, with demonstrated experience in developing and delivering content and interactive experiences for diverse audiences at live events.

The Digital Content Producer will:

  1. Under direction, produce creative and engaging digital and video content for World Science Festival Brisbane 2021 Conversation and Signature events and other creative projects to the highest standard in accordance with agreed timeframes.
  2. Collaborate with the Head, World Science Festival Brisbane and Events, Senior Producer, Production Manager and Science Content Editor to produce content including audio-video content, interactive graphics/animation, immersive content, interactive/gaming experiences and/or visual assets.
  3. Liaise with participants to source content and ensure their research and expertise is presented in a meaningful and respectful manner.
  4. Prepare plans, documentation, running orders, and risk analyses for events and activities within your control and file in accordance with agreed procedure.
  5. Manage the technical requirements of content production and delivery in collaboration with the Production Manager, venue crew and the digital production contractor.
  6. Manage a programming budget, escalate issues promptly, and report against expenditure.
  7. Actively participate in working parties comprised of internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Comply with Queensland Museum Network policies, procedures, and appropriate legislation.
