This role is a great opportunity for a marcomms savvy professional to utilise their creative and technical flair in delivering social media strategy. You will drive adoption and usage of social media tools, be innovative in building engagement and improving user experience, and reporting and evaluating channels for effectiveness and improvements, while be responsible for governance and controls on these channels.

The role of the Digital Engagement Manager sits within the Public Engagement Unit of the Queensland Museum Network and reports to the Head of Marketing and Media, which has responsibility for managing the museum’s brand and reputation, marketing, media and digital and communication activity across its network of campuses. The role will plan, develop and lead front end digital engagement activities.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be an enabler, a clarifier and a leader in driving strategy for the organisation’s online and digital channels. The role will manage the delivery of online and digital activities and assets and multimedia content across the network, and analysing and evaluation campaigns. You will be responsible for ensuring all Queensland Museum Network and stakeholder approvals for online and digital activity are undertaken within budget and to deadlines.

The Digital Engagement Manager will be a self-motivated, digital disrupter who can think laterally to help lead change for commercial opportunities, while maintaining attention to detail, manage multiple tasks and deadlines. The role has one direct report – the digital engagement coordinator role.

Experience using social media monitoring tools, Sitecore, WordPress,Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Click Dimensions will be an advantage.
