Duties
Working to the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in the development and delivery of the Museum’s marketing activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategic and effective marketing campaigns for exhibitions, public programs and other Museum activities. This includes media planning, creative campaign development, production of marketing materials, and stakeholder liaison
- Develop and manage partnerships with the tourism industry and the broader business community
- Deliver and evaluate digital marketing campaigns
- Manage paid advertising across social media channels
- Execute electronic direct mail campaigns
- Research appropriate online channels that reach target audiences in local, national and international markets. Establish relationships with these organisations
- Liaise effectively with other business units of the Museum, external partners and stakeholders in the tourism and cultural sectors to ensure the best outcomes from marketing strategies
