If you’ve proven yourself to be the ‘go to’ digital marketer in your agency or company and can demonstrate that you can deliver effective campaigns and bring social media ideas to life then we want to hear from you.
As part of our high performing and dynamic team and reporting to the Head of Marketing, Communications and Brand this newly created role will be vital in promoting the museum online and through social media as well as supporting our relationships with MyMuseum members.
You will be responsible for creating digital campaigns to support the museum’s commercial, tourism and retail functions as well as our exhibitions, programmes and events.
You will work across the institute as part of the Social Media Club to help identify and develop social campaigns to bring our collections to life and the stories behind them.
We’re looking for someone with who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment with an ability to work “hands on” and autonomously as well as part of a team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in developing, implementing innovative and effective digital marketing campaigns in either an agency or in house
- A passion for social media and social ideas with a track record in developing campaigns in this evolving media channel
- Experience in CRM marketing and online membership communications
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Understanding and experience in utilising SEO including Google(R) Analytics.
- Understand the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi as they relate to the Museum environment
