The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) celebrates the screen in its myriad forms. ACMI is a major, publicly funded museum situated in the heart of Melbourne in Federation Square hosting exhibition spaces, galleries, studios, two state of the art cinemas, a Mediatheque and archive plus a shop and cafe. Supported by funding through the Victorian Government, in only a decade it has become the world’s most visited moving image or film cultural centre, attracting over 1.3 million visitors in 2014.

ACMI has a fantastic opportunity for an individual with an extensive background in digital production in a cultural environment coupled with the ability to lead a talented group of creative and technical staff to deliver digital media and interactive products, including creative content to engage with audiences and support ACMI’s programs.

We are looking for a creative, dynamic professional to lead this part of our business.  Driven by a passion for the moving image, you will have a strong network, a proven track record overseeing the creation and delivery of content, and experience championing the creative use of digital tools across the organisation. You will have an engaging leadership style and bring extensive experience in digital production and project management, coupled with collaborative communication approach.
