The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced digital practitioner for a new role within our Digital Life department.

As Museums Victoria’s Traffic and Scheduling Manager, you will develop and run a digital products and services schedule, overseeing the allocation of briefs and tasks, and tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and issues on multiple projects.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Experience in a traffic management and/or similar scheduling role, a superpower for detail, and a track record of effectively managing and scheduling work so that projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Demonstrated experience  implementing and using project management and tracking systems and software and the ability to establish processes to smooth out complex workflows and improve capacity planning.
  • A strong understanding  of digital design and production processes as they relate to website design, development, and publishing; video and content production; and digitisation; and the skills and time involved to do this work to a high standard, and
  • The ability to work constructively and effectively as a member of a diverse digital department and with colleagues within and beyond Museums Victoria to find solutions and map out a path to clarity and execution.
