About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Australian Museum’s DigiVol team and help volunteers digitise the collections of the Australian Museum. You will coordinate the day to day operations of the world re-knowned DigiVol project, working with volunteers in the DigiVol Lab and on the DigiVol website to make our collections accessible to the world.
Essential Requirements
- As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate;
- Extensive experience in working with and building volunteer communities and communicating with non-professional communities such as citizen science.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of delivering and overseeing technical activities such as databasing, technical photography and collection handling.
- Demonstrated experience with and/or understanding of collections and collection data.
- Adequate knowledge and experience in order to deliver the Key Accountabilities and perform to the Focus Capabilities outlined in the relevant Role Description.
