Registration Announcement

We are excited to announce registration prices for AMaGA 2023 conference!

Join us in Newcastle to explore how areas of discomfort are being identified, acknowledged and addressed by museums and galleries in local and global contexts. The conference will be held across Murrook Cultural Centre (RR&C Day, Reception plus the AMaGA National Awards), Newcastle City Hall and Civic Theatre (plenaries, concurrent sessions and exhibition).

Registration will be live on Friday 2 December 2022 as follows, prices as follows (inc GST):





Super Early Bird – for two weeks only, or until sold out (50 available)

Early Bird Registrations will close on Monday 30 January 2023. Standard prices then start from $950 for AMaGA Members.
This year, we are offering a special bundle for non AMaGA members!

With a $30 saving on an AMaGA Individual Membership (valued at $180) PLUS an Early Bird
Conference Registration, this special bundle for non-members is available at a discounted price of $900. Standard registration bundles will be available for $1100 after Monday 30 January 2023.

Your full registration for 2023 is inclusive of attendance at either the AM or PM session at the RR&C Day, to be held at Murrook Cultural Centre. Opt-in for your preferred time during the registration process.
The Welcome Reception will be held on Tuesday 16 May 2023. Be welcomed to Awabakal & Worimi Land during the Smoking Ceremony and finish the night with the highly anticipated AMaGA National Awards. Hosted at Murrook Cultural Centre.
A special night is in store on Wednesday 17 May 2023 with Mid-Career Mentor Speed Dating. With curators, educators and more as your mentees, take the time to relax and make connections which will propel your career. More details to come soon!
AMaGA 2023 is thrilled to welcome you to our Conference Festival Dinner on Thursday 18 May 2023. Hosted by Newcastle Museum, we look forward to you joining us for some classic Newcastle fun.
