EDUCATION BOOKINGS ADMINISTRATOR

ACMI is the museum of screen culture. Navigate the universe of film, TV, videogames and art with us. ACMI celebrates the wonder and power of the world’s most democratic artform – fostering the next generation of makers, players and watchers. ACMI’s vibrant calendar of exhibitions, screenings, commissions, festivals, and industry and education programs explores the stories, technologies and artists that create our shared screen culture.

We have an exciting full-time ongoing role within our Education Team for an Education Bookings Administrator to coordinate and support bookings for ACMI educational programs. Reporting directly to the Head of Education, the Education Bookings Administrator facilitates booking requests and responds to requests for information about the programs. The role actively promotes the programs and resources whilst supporting the team to schedule spaces and resources using ACMI systems. An essential part of this role is to provide a positive experience for all education stakeholders.

Our ideal team member will have strong customer service experience, having provided booking and administrative support to a small team in either a service delivery organisation or educational/cultural organisation. The role requires excellent administrative skills, and proficiency in using a range of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and ideally one or more of the following, Event Business Management Systems (EBMS), Tessitura or Epicor. You will enjoy using your organisational skills, managing competing demands, multiple stakeholders and meeting deadlines. If you are a motivated multi-tasker, with an attention to detail, who enjoys supporting creative and passionate educators, this is the role for you.

If successful, you can expect to become part of a talented, committed and creative team of people with a passion for screen culture.
