ABOUT THE POSITION:
Museums Victoria is seeking an experienced and talented Education Programs Producer to develop and deliver curriculum-based programs to meet the learning needs of diverse education audiences. This role is primarily based at Melbourne Museum.

Some of the key duties include:
- Develop and deliver innovative education and public programs, including in Melbourne Museum’s Learning Lab Studio, in collaboration with Education and Public Programs teams, that activate Museums Victoria’s research, collections, experiences and exhibitions in order to achieve participation, engagement and income targets.
- Lead the development and delivery of design and tech learning workshops and virtual learning sessions for students and teachers consistent with the requirements of Victoria’s Department of Education and Training including the Strategic Partnerships Program.
- Provide guidance, including professional advice regarding digital experiences and museum learning to museum staff involved in the development and delivery of programs, experiences and exhibitions and identify opportunities to incorporate digital technologies in onsite, offsite and online programs.
- Identify and monitor museum education and curriculum trends and issues regarding design, digital technology and innovation, and provide advice and share insights on these to staff and senior management.
