Museums Victoria, Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking an Education Project Lead, Science Challenges. We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join the Public Programs and Education team to lead the development of best practice science resources aligned to the Victorian Curriculum that support classroom teachers in delivering highly engaging and effective science lessons.
Working with the Museums Victoria Public Programs and Education team, some core functionsof this position include:
- Coordinate the planning, research, writing, development, and delivery of a suite of science challenges and assessments including some digital resources, for Levels 5-9
- Test and evaluate the challenges and assessments including recruiting teachers and schools to review and trial a selection of resources using a mixed-methods evaluation approach.
- Coordinate and provide guidance, including professional advice informed by best practice science pedagogy, to museum staff and other writers and specialists involved in the development of science resources.
