Emma Memma returns to Melbourne Museum for Children’s Week
Award-winning children’s performer to headline show at Melbourne Museum’s annual Romp and Stomp showcase event.

Returning from a highly successful 2025 show, ARIA award-winning children’s entertainer Emma Memma and friends will once again delight Melbourne Museum families with a special show on Saturday 24 October.

The performance is set to be the showcase event for this year’s Romp and Stomp, the pinnacle event for Museums Victoria’s annual Children’s Week, running from 24 October to 1 November.

With this year’s theme, Jungle Jamboree, all are invited to celebrate the wonders of the natural world in this action-packed event made just for kids and their grown-ups.

In a thirty-minute stage show, Emma Memma will perform an array of songs including a mix of old favourites and songs from her newest album, Jungle Picnic. Jampacked with music, movement, creativity and plenty of opportunities for kids to join in, the show promises to be an unforgettable experience for children and their grown-ups.

Alongside Emma Memma’s show, little explorers aged 0-12 can enjoy interactive activities, live performances, animal interactions, dancing, dress ups and more across a day-long adventure through the natural world.

‘We are thrilled to be returning to Melbourne Museum to perform at another Children’s Week,’ said Emma. ‘The Museum has long been a place of learning, wonder and imagination, and we look forward to adding to that with 30-minutes of song, dance and play for members and visitors.’

Lynley Crosswell, CEO and Director of Museums Victoria said:

‘Children’s Week celebrates the curiosity, creativity and wonder that children bring to the world. At Melbourne Museum, we’re thrilled to welcome Emma Memma back for what promises to be another magical performance, alongside a week of engaging experiences designed to inspire young minds. We warmly invite families to come together, explore and share in the joy of discovery.’

Romp and Stomp is proudly supported by the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder Initiative.
