Provide a range of governance, compliance and reporting activities for the Australian War Memorial.

The Place

The Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive, and is currently planning a substantial expansion of existing gallery spaces, a new southern extension, an atrium (glazed link), and an enhanced Anzac Hall.

The Role

Working at the centre of the Executive Team, in direct contact with the Senior Leadership Group you will be:

  • Developing, improving and implementing the Memorial’s Corporate Compliance Program
  • Reporting internally and externally on compliance and corporate issues
  • Supporting and Coordinating the Annual Report, Corporate and Business Plans, the Business Continuity Plan, the Policy Register and Directors Instructions
  • Providing expert advice and support for Privacy, FOI, Insurance and Risk activities.

You

You will need to be an experienced reporting and compliance officer with the knowledge and ability to support and coordinate several projects at once.  You will have research and analytical skills, work well in a team, be organised and efficient with a strong understanding of priority, and be able to communicate well with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
