Position Description

Under general direction, working individually or as part of a small team, the Events and Ceremonies Officer undertakes the administration and coordination tasks associated with the planning and delivery of a range of ceremonial and event projects and services.

The work involves: procurement and budget coordination, liaison and negotiation, logistics, compilation of documentation including administration and technical briefs, risk management plans, work health and safety compliance, orders of service, contractor management, adherence to protocols and all associated administration.

This position will be required to work outside business hours (including weekends and public holidays). Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
