Duties
The Executive Officer to the Director provides high-level advice, executive support and stakeholder management to the Director of the Australian War Memorial. Activities include: undertaking research, development of written correspondence, speaking notes and briefs and delivering a high level of correspondence across all Branch activities.
The Executive Officer possesses a high level of discretion and excellent organisational and time-management skills suited to a fast paced environment. The Executive Officer possesses a demonstrated capacity to build strong relationships to facilitate day-to-day interactions with internal and external senior stakeholders. This position works to the Director and will have a focus on the servicing of enquiries and requests into his office.
The role is part of the Executive support team and liaises with Branch Head Public Programs frequently as well as other Branch Heads as required and relevant to priorities.
Notes
- Demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills, extensive experience in high level client and stakeholder relations and demonstrated pre-emptive thinking will be highly regarded.

- The position will be filled to align with the tenure of the Director up unitl 17/12/2017.
