About the Australian Museum
The Australian Museum (AM) operates within the NSW Department of Planning and Environment and was founded in 1827 and is the first museum in Australia. The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 18 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite. About the role
To coordinate and administrate exhibition production and workshop maintenance to ensure that exhibitions are delivered on time, maintained to the highest standard and meet the Museum’s corporate strategic objectives.
Essential Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate
- Sound ability to read and effectively interpret written & technical instructions, such as production briefs, maintenance plans and procedures to effectively interpret concepts and working drawings and related documentation for exhibitions and planning.
- Full Drivers Licence & Construction White Card.
- Knowledge and experience in order to deliver the Key Accountabilities and perform to the Focus Capabilities outlined in the Role Description.
