Join ACMI’s Exhibitions & Touring Team in this full-time fixed term role as an Exhibitions AV Technician – Touring. This role is responsible for the technical coordination and logistical delivery of select international and national touring exhibitions as well as supporting the Exhibitions AV team with ACMI’s onsite exhibition program. Reporting to the Exhibitions Technical Manager, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the exhibition program and establish systems and documentation resources. This includes onsite setup of audio-visual equipment, managing contractors to install and de-install exhibitions, collaborating with stakeholders to plan and deliver exhibitions, technical fault finding/troubleshooting and ensuring a safe exhibition and preparation environment.

Our ideal team member will have significant work experience in providing technical support, preferably within the creative industries sector and/or a gallery environment. You will have relevant technical trade qualifications and/or work experience in the operation, staging and delivery of integrated technical services within diverse exhibition environments. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working with a diverse team to deliver high quality results.
