About this role

ACMI is Australia’s national museum of screen culture. Based in Melbourne/*Naarm, it is a place for our communities to navigate the universe of film, TV, videogames and art with us. ACMI celebrates the wonder and power of the screen culture – fostering the next generation of makers, players and watchers. ACMI’s vibrant calendar of exhibitions, screenings, commissions, festivals, and industry and education programs – both in-venue and online – explore the stories, technologies and creators that make our shared screen culture.

Join ACMI as an Exhibitions Coordinator (full time ongoing role) and support our Exhibitions, Touring and Curatorial teams to create amazing experiences. The Coordinator manages administrative workflow across these teams plus provides administrative support to the Head of Exhibitions and Head of Touring. Reporting to the Head of Exhibitions, the Coordinator supports the delivery of on site and touring projects, manages relationships with stakeholders and facilitates group planning.

Our ideal team member will have experience providing executive level administrative and operational support in a cultural organisation. You will have a demonstrated track record in financial administration and using contemporary office communication technologies. With strong organisational and project management skills you will be able to confidently prioritise activities managing competing demands and deadlines. A skilled relationship builder your excellent communication and negotiation skills enables you to solve problems and manage stakeholder expectations.

This Grade 3 role is offered on an ongoing full-time basis with a starting salary of $73,842 plus super. You will work a mix of WFH and onsite from our museum at Federation Square.
