The Exhibitions Section has responsibility for the development and management of the Memorial’s galleries and exhibitions program. The program includes the planning, implementation and maintenance of: 13,000sqm of permanent exhibitions and galleries; national and international travelling exhibitions; and temporary and special exhibitions and displays.

The Section is looking for two people to fill roles at the EL1 and APS 6 Levels. Both roles require liaison with Memorial staff and external contractors in the development and delivery of the Memorial’s permanent exhibitions temporary and travelling exhibitions, and the gallery maintenance and changeover program. Both positions require experience in the delivery of interpretative exhibition design projects within the museum or art gallery sector; a thorough understanding and appreciation of contemporary museum practices; the ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously at various phases; and high level communication and liaison skills.

The EL1 position also takes a lead role on exhibitions and projects and is responsible for managing the high standard of presentation within the galleries, project management, administration, monitoring and reporting against projects, plans and budgets.
