ACMI’s vibrant calendar of exhibitions, screenings, commissions, festivals, and industry and education programs explore the stories, technologies and artists that create our shared screen culture.
We have an exciting full-time fixed-term role (until 30 June 2022) for an Exhibitions Project Coordinator to deliver logistical and design aspects of ACMI’s ongoing exhibition programme and permanent exhibition. You will join the Exhibitions & Touring Team which creates and manages both onsite and touring exhibitions and report to the Exhibitions Manager. Working collaboratively you will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including curators, designers, exhibition install teams, external contractors, artists and institutional lenders.
Our ideal team member will be experienced delivering quality exhibitions including exhibition planning and development in a public exhibition or museum display environment. With strong organisational and project management skills you will be able to confidently prioritise activities managing competing demands and deadlines. A skilled relationship builder your excellent communication and negotiation skills enable you to solve problems and manage stakeholder expectations.
If successful, you can expect to become part of a talented, committed and creative team of people with a passion for screen culture. This Grade 3 role is offered as a full time fixed term role until 30 June 2023 with a starting salary of $68,884 plus super.
