Help bring alive the exhibitions at the new Canterbury Museum
Ōtautahi Christchurch has changed in the last 10 years and now it’s our Museum’s time to start making some important changes. It will be a journey, and one that starts here with our search for people to join us.
We’re embarking on a bold redevelopment project and need creative people to help us bring alive the stories of Waitaha Canterbury.
We are looking for people across a range of skill sets, from exhibition design and fundraising, through planning and fabrication, to people management. We need people with energy and resilience, a love for taonga and their stories, respect for people and cultures, a commitment to excellence, and the day-to-day ability to navigate complex relationships and community aspirations and translate them into tangible change inside the Museum. Help us to better reflect our communities as we step in to our future.
If you have ever thought about exploring opportunities at the Museum, now is the time! To be clear, we are not seeking proposals from agencies; instead, we are seeking people to join the Museum’s in-house team.
