THE OPPORTUNITY:
This position is accountable for the support and efficient day-to-day operation of the Federation Handbells program, including loans and facilitating their use in a range of contexts.
Working within the Federation Handbells team, key duties of this role include:
- Assist with the management of the Handbells Loans Program bookings, including liaising with borrowers collecting and dropping off bells. Much of this work will be done on a Wednesday at Simcock Ave Store.
- React, at short notice, to changes in resources or client needs; including providing the borrower with charges, freight, insurance, pick-up, and return arrangements.
- Use the bookings systems and databases, corresponding with clients via the telephone and email.
- Assist the Federation Handbells Senior Programs Officer with monitoring and maintaining the Federation Handbells including regular audits, tuning and cleaning of bells, ordering of equipment and resources, handling requisitions, purchase orders and processing of payments.
