Duties

The Museum has an exciting ongoing opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Property Operations Team, providing a range of support tasks and activities. The successful candidate must have a current driver’s license and be able to handle some manual handling work. The occupant will have responsibilities for sorting and delivering mail from Australia Post to Museum employees and undertaking a range of courier duties between our Mitchell and Acton sites on a daily basis. Other Courier duties may also be required on an adhoc basis.

The occupant will collect and distribute parcels from the Museum dock for Museum employees and be able to identify suspicious parcels and escalate matters to Security.

Working with Business Reception, the position will ensure stationary cupboards are stocked and deliver supplies to Business Units on request. The role also provides support for the Facilities and Events staff in a variety of activities which may include setting up chairs, tables for programs and events. Some administrative tasks, using office equipment will also be required.
