Facilities Coordinator & Loading Area Manager
- Manage the operations of Melbourne Museum’s loading dock and work within a team to deliver and maintain Facilities Management Services at Melbourne Museum, IMAX & the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building
- Assist in the delivery and provide key recommendations for Museums Victoria environmental & sustainability strategy
- Manage and control Museums Victoria Asbestos and Hazardous materials registers and develop hazard management plans for Museums Victoria venues

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Facilities Coordinator and Loading Area Manager will be:
Notable skills and experiences:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in environmentally sustainable practices, in particular waste and waste-water management
- A wide range of experience and appropriate certification for mobile lifting equipment, fork lift truck, dogging and red card would be advantageous or willingness to undergo training in these areas.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering facility management minor works, risk management processes and contractor management to deliver best value outcomes and meet OH&S obligations within the facility management industry.
- A working knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and experience in asset management software.
