Facilities and Information Management Governance Officer

The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised professional to join the agency in the role of Facilities and Information Management Governance Officer. The successful candidate will work as part of the Facilities Management team providing quality administrative and project support across a range of work activities within the business unit. The position will also provide governance and administrative support, particularly finance and procurement support for the Chief Information Officer, as required.

The position provides general administrative, project and operational support to the Facilities Management and IT teams. This includes monitoring team budgets, managing invoices and payments, reconciliation of credit cards and phone records, coordinating monthly progress reports, meeting coordination and support, writing minor proposals, intranet management, managing the facilities job log system and documentation management for the Business Unit.

In this role, you will use your initiative to develop and implement processes and systems that streamline and support the efficient operations of the Business Units. You must have a willingness to learn and enjoy working in a team environment. You will be able to work independently to achieve outcomes.

You will be familiar with online collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, and have experience with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office. You will engage with new tools and take initiative to learn and develop new skills in a supportive environment.
