You will be responsible for the effective coordination and oversight of facilities management related services and provide operational support to the Facilities team on a diverse range of facility management deliverables.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients, building occupants, contractors and members of the general public to deliver consistent high quality building services, including functioning as the primary client contact point for building maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Coordinate and oversee training in emergency procedures and building safety programs, such as the Occupant Emergency Program, including functioning as a Site Warden and carrying out any relevant activities required under the Fire and Rescue Authority Act (Qld).
- Operate computerised systems including a Building Management and Security System to provide reports on mechanical, fire and security systems to relevant stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate the responsive and scheduled maintenance program, including managing the coordination of the service desk for building services.
- Sets up and restore venue spaces as required to accommodate venue hire and events.
- The Facilities Services Officer undertakes all other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Operations Manager.
