Duties

The Finance Systems Administrator is a key position in the Finance Section.

The work includes end user system administration, documentation, training, end of month and end of year processes, functionality design, oversight of functionality enhancement implementation, and co-ordination of testing. The position is a liaison between the Finance, Human Resources and IT sections and external consultants in regard to system and maintenance issues (including BASIS maintenance and specific SAP projects). The work also includes the provision of a helpdesk service, assisting in the resolution of system and processing problems and provides other support as required to support business plan activities.

The position is required to have a comprehensive understanding of a range of general financial operations.
